“What if Sherlock Holmes was a lady Batman?” This adventurous series from Breaking Light Productions balances adventure and entertainment with thought-provoking themes and complex characters. The series has many parts and even a side story featuring the heroine’s nephew, which presented a fun design challenge to make branding for many shows that were distinct but visually consistent with each other. Each poster has its own color, figures, tagline, and of course title. Keeping each poster monochrome and in the same format allows them to be read as part of a series. Each poster also has its own “VH” logo with a small roman numeral indicating which part in the series it is chronologically. That way, those who are following the series can tell where each play fits in the series.

This advertisement was printed in a program festival that was only produced in black and white. Visual details were added (since we couldn't rely on color to grab attention), and a QR code links to the playlist where the the show was uploaded.

This banner went at the top of the YouTube channel to advertise the release of the new show. Different formats on different devices limited where important information needed to go, so decorative details fill out the background areas that may or may not be visible.
